Big blue white ginger jar

These beautiful pots were inspired by the eternally popular blue-white ginger jars. The famous blue-white glaze became well-known when the first porcelain pieces were imported from China to Europe 500 years ago and only grew in popularity when manufacturers in Europe figured out how to imitate these pieces.

Nowadays we use these pots as decorative pots or flower vases in our interior. A classic blue-white pot looks amazing in many interior styles!

Did you know that these jars can be ideal and unique gifts? These pots are decorated five times with the stylised Chinese character that means ‘good luck’. A ginger jar or a pair of ginger jars with this character have been presented as gifts to friends or family for centuries; loads of good luck is the best wish you can give someone, right?
