Antique decorative brick with a couple of birds

We have some very lovely square antique bricks from old Chinese houses in Shanxi province. Seres Collection includes various of these bricks. This particular one is decorated with a couple of birds; these are probably magpies symbolising conjugal bliss, in marriage itself and in intercourse. They are unique and very decorative pieces. We placed these on a black painted, metal base.
